Impression Obsession began in the summer of 1998 in Williamsburg, Virginia as a part-time venture by two high school teachers. Stamping enthusiasts, they wanted to see more detailed classic images in rubber. They found a local artist who created incredibly detailed and whimsical designs of historical places, country scenes, and even outhouses! The first catalog featured 40 of these images and was sent out to 1800 stamp and craft stores. It was well-received and now, nearly 10 years later, we have over 2000 rubber stamp designs from many different artists and over 150 clear stamp sets. We're still a small but steadily growing company dedicated to producing stamps of the best quality possible.
“I think clear phrases are the best because you can see right where you want them! I always add them last and you can tell if they will fit and get them in the right spot and straight easily if they are clear.”
