Classic wood-mounted rubber stamps provide superior stamping and a luscious stamping experience. The rubber holds and transfers ink better than clear stamps. The foam mounting transfers pressure evenly so that the stamp image forms completely. A wooden handle is printed with a picture of the stamp (called an index.) The wooden art stamp experience is the best of the best.
This stamp makes beautiful Christmas cards. My favorite is to emboss it in white or winter wonderland on dark blue or dark red cardstock. It also looks wonderful using the distress inks. A "go to" stamp in my collection.
World Peace is such a lovely stamp. It is in Penny Black's brush stroke collectiona and it has such movement to the image that I believe it's a must have. I've used it for Christmas, Easter, and am considering using it for earth day. Love Penny Black stamps and am glad I have this stamp in my collection. It's on the discontinued list so if you are considering it, get it soon.
I bought this stamp years ago and used it qute often, sometimes very elegant and simple, silver embossed; or very fun with bright paper. I used again this last Christmas to convey the need for Peace in this world. I stamped in black and enhanced with watercolor pencils, red ribbon, green world. I love her brush stroke stamps.
I have this stamp and use it every Christmas Season to share the idea of the season. Use a white or light Brilliance ink on vellum; Highlight the tips of the wings in a white or halographic glitter....Stamp PEACE on the cardstock underneath the vellum or gold emboss the word Peace to make it stand out.
PEACE is my holiday message this year. This image is just bold enough, yet has enough detail to make a lovely card. I plan to emboss in silver on vellum overlay on blue paper.
Just finished making stunning cards with this stamp, Versamark and white embossing powder on a pale blue card and "Peace he said" embossed in white on blue and layered on white.
I made this one up according to the 2004 Christmas catalog and it turned out so nice. Ths color catalogs sure help with the coloring of the stamps. Thanks to Penny Black.
