Tim Holtz Distress Inks are acid-free, non-toxic, fade resistant, water-based dye inks. They're perfect for the new vintage, stained, aged effect crafters are creating in their altered books, scrapbook pages, cards and paper craft projects. These inks produce a realistic, weathered look on paper, photos and decorative fibers. The 2" x 2" pads are made with a higher raised felt for easier use with direct to paper techniques.

About Ranger Industries…

Ranger Industries Logo Ranger was founded in 1929 and originally manufactured an exclusive line of commercial ink products for the U.S. banking industry. In 1979, Ranger developed the first art stamp pads in unique, vibrant colors. Until 1998, Ranger¹s primary business was private label products for stamp manufacturers. Ranger then began marketing product lines of its own beginning with inks and eventually developing embossing powders. With a continuous focus on innovation, successful lines such as the Adirondack® and Distress™ family of products, Perfect Pearls™ pigment powders and Melt Art® products have become popular worldwide.

“I own almost every color from this line and I love them all! I use them to distress the edges of my card but I mainly use them to watercolor stamped images. It's easy to shade with the same color!”
Product Rating A must have for your Tim Holtz Distress Collection

Product Rating I always carry this one with me along with Worn Lipstick.

“Shabby shutters and worn lipstick are great together. I use them both all the time. I keep them in my travel kit. And find myself getting them out at home all the time. But it is a little too light of a color for some projects.”
Product Rating I like Holtz inks -- just not this color

“I'm really "into" this green color --- at least the way it looks on the label. But I found that the actual ink had just touch too much yellow in it for me.”
Product Rating Great quality and look great!

“Again, I love these because you need really need any papers to match - you can create your own. I do mine by putting one or two or even three of the colours together and blending them gently, then spritzing water over them to make them run and then "chase" them over the card or paper with a heatgun (not the hairdryer shape" and wow!”
Product Rating great color
