VersaFine pads are the best! They allow for fine detail, showing a stamp off to its best and they come in a wonderful array of sophisticated colors. I just wish they came in more. I buy every color of this I find. This color is subtle but clearly visible. My daughter says it is dark but not black, and I agree it is a useful supplementary color.

I sure could use this when I want a soft outline embossed.

I wish I had discovered these earlier. The versafine inkpads are all I ever want to use now, the images you get using this are so superior to other inkpads.

The smoky color is a subtle and a little softer than the black and I like it. The VersaFine Ink Pads are the ABSOLUTE BEST ink pads available. Deep satisfying color every time. The pad is a joy to use. It has an EASY attached lid that folds back and in my opinion is a big plus! PERFECT for finely detailed photo images - which may not print well with other inks but are gorgeous with VersaFine. You will want to buy EVERY color!

These ink pads are fantastic. Images are clean and precise,the ink dries fast, can be watercolored, and washes off your stamps easily. The smoke grey is especially effective as a base for your watercolored images--looks very professional.
