Tim Holtz Distress Inks are acid-free, non-toxic, fade resistant, water-based dye inks. They're perfect for the new vintage, stained, aged effect crafters are creating in their altered books, scrapbook pages, cards and paper craft projects. These inks produce a realistic, weathered look on paper, photos and decorative fibers. The 2" x 2" pads are made with a higher raised felt for easier use with direct to paper techniques.
Ranger was founded in 1929 and originally manufactured an exclusive line of commercial ink products for the U.S. banking industry. In 1979, Ranger developed the first art stamp pads in unique, vibrant colors. Until 1998, Ranger¹s primary business was private label products for stamp manufacturers. Ranger then began marketing product lines of its own beginning with inks and eventually developing embossing powders. With a continuous focus on innovation, successful lines such as the Adirondack® and Distress™ family of products, Perfect Pearls™ pigment powders and Melt Art® products have become popular worldwide.
This is a great product to add a little flavor to your work!
“I first used this product in a scrapbook class with many other Tim Holtz products! Really, they're all fabulous! You can't go wrong. This ink pad works for rubber stamps as well as chipboard or grunge board. Rub it right onto chipboard or grunge board for a great, distressed look. Perfect for antique looking layouts! I love it! It's definitely a great product to try!”
“I love this product. The Distress Inks are embossable, add "age" to my projects giving a vintage look, and the ink lasts a long time. There are re-inkers available, too, which saves us throwing away pads that can be re-used. All of the colors in his line are awesome, but this aged mahogany is really rich!”
“You can't go wrong if it has Tim Holtz name on the product. I have this Distress Ink pad as well as a number of others and they work unlike any other ink pads I've ever tried. The quality will show in your work. You'll love it!!”
