Ranger was founded in 1929 and originally manufactured an exclusive line of commercial ink products for the U.S. banking industry. In 1979, Ranger developed the first art stamp pads in unique, vibrant colors. Until 1998, Ranger¹s primary business was private label products for stamp manufacturers. Ranger then began marketing product lines of its own beginning with inks and eventually developing embossing powders. With a continuous focus on innovation, successful lines such as the Adirondack® and Distress™ family of products, Perfect Pearls™ pigment powders and Melt Art® products have become popular worldwide.
This color is so lovely, a stawberry pink. For those of you who haven't tried embossing with the distress inks, I recommend it. With a clear embossing powder, this color really comes into its own.
I am so happy with all the Distress Inks. The colors are beautiful and they each compliment the others in this line. They are unique dye inks in that stay wet long enough to emboss and they work wonderfully in direct to paper applications because they allow for blending. Worn Lipstick is a one of the first colors I reach for.
Worn lipstick is one of my favorite inks, I use it all the time. I like to smudge it on with makeup sponges. I usually use it to add color around already stamped or to be stamped areas.
Another one of Tim Holtz successes. The colors are delicious, the effect wonderful, and the uses are limitless. I love them with or without the distress powders.
You can never go wrong with Tim Holtz distress inkpads. It's another one of the products that the possibilities are endless. I have used these inks for everything from card making to distressing wooden frames to go along with my photo layouts of older pictures.
