I used the cat with the balloons to make a cards for my 6 year old niece. I stamped it on white cardstock with Versafine ink, colored it with pencils and used a orchid scrapbook paper with tiny white dots as the background and found 3 buttons the exact color. It was an adorable card!

This set provides a wonderful start and introduction to Penny Black stamps. I'm going to take the advice of from some of the reviewers and buy Versa Fine stamp pads to work with these. These stamps would keep anyone busy with all their possibilites.

this is yet another brilliant penny black set, and works for anything, the mouse with the bowl of stars is great on gift tags too.

These were great to use to create birthday and valentine's day cards for the whole family! I can't wait to create more cards - especially for father's day.

Just LOVE this set.... I've made several juvenile and adult cards from it. The images are easy to color with watercolor pencils or marker and when colored, rival the look of much more expensive stamps.

I use a few of them together and then separate. The detail is so amazing. They are great chalked or plain. People really love the expressions the characters have.
