I recently purchased this border stamp, and already I'm wondering how I ever lived without it! It's great stamped at the bottom of a card, useful as a background, and nice on the outside of an envelope to highlight the person's name. I have also found it can be used in its entirety or in parts. Just tape off what you don't want to stamp when inking. (Saturday, October 17, 2009)

This stamp filled the bill. I always stamp it in blue, in accordance with the Blue Willow theme. So I find it a bit limiting as far as the color of paper it can be used with, Also, I have had a little trouble getting it to ink up and stamp uniformly. ColorBox Cat's Eye Ink Pad, Dark Brown |
If I never had another inkpad, I think I'd get along just fine. I probably use this particular inkpad and color on about 95% of my cards. It's the perfect deep, rich brown and works great for distressing paper edges. I wore out the first one I had and am on my second one now. (Thursday, July 16, 2009)

Armadillo |
This is the coolest stamp. We have plenty of armadillos in Oklahoma, and they're just the most bizarre little creatures. I have been surprised at how often I've used this stamp since I purchased it. I've stamped a tiny armadillo inside the front flap of cards, on the back, and any number of places for an unexpected touch. I hadn't thought of stamping one upside down, but that's a great idea. This paper by Cosmo Cricket is the best Christmas paper I've ever seen. The paper itself is heavy enough for cardstock, and is printed on both sides to double your options. The colors and patterns are absolutely the most unique and fabulous I've ever seen for the holiday season, especially if you favor a vintage look. Colorbox Pigment Ink Refill, Sepia Black |
Color Box sepia black is a wonderful, warm shade of black. It's great for edging your paper on cards, especially on any project you don't want to look too stark or modern. Gives that perfect off-black tone, truly sepia, just like the name implies. I'm more likely to use a deep, espresso brown for most of my work, but there are times when nothing but black will do, and this is the product I reach for in those situations. My Mother's Dress |
I love the dress on this stamp. It can be either a party, dance or wedding dress, and the uncluttered style is at once both vintage and modern.
I've used this stamp for weddings, girly birthday cards, girlfriend thank-you notes and mother's day cards, but it's versatile enough for many other occasions as well.
